COLD, JUST GOLD.

I love city trips to anywhere, especially when it is with my love.
This time we went to Swiss, first timer for me.

I was really excited when I got it as a present from the boyfriend, as I heard nothing but good things about Switzerland. We planned to meet up with some friends who we’ve met in Australia. As they live in Basel, we flew from Amsterdam to Basel. The only thing on the agenda was relaxing and exploring. Just like when we were traveling around the world. Gosh, I missed it.

When we had our first walk in Basel, the beauty of Switzerland already amazed me. You have to know, I didn’t even see any snowy mountains yet……

We went to Luzern to go to Mt. Rigi from there. Just for a “little” snow experience. But we got way more than that. My o my, Luzern is really one of the most cutest towns ever. All the houses have those colorful window shutters (typical Swiss). With the mountains around it and the lake as a central point, it couldn’t get more romantic.

Once we were on top of Mt. Rigi, we were so cold. You need to know, we had the sun (and really high temperatures) for a long looooong time. So it was a big temperature SHOCK! But it didn’t spoil our moment. We enjoyed the view so much, we stayed there to watch the sunset. Note: at that point we didn’t feel our fingers anymore, OOPS!
