So many choices, so many amazing brands and products and then we have to decide what’s best for our skin. Luckily I got some help.

When summer entered this year, I met one of the team members of Paula’s Choice. She asked me if I wanted to try something new for my skin. I have to say, I tried so many things, in all price ranges and still not happy with the results. So, of course I wanted to try something new, again. Based on a skin test, I got a complete line from Paula’s Choice, which I am using and testing for months. Before you read the whole review below…. I have to admit something to you. I am super lazy if it comes to skincare. My skin is dehydrated, because I really don’t like to drink a lot of water, which is the official step 1 for a healthy skin. But I am trying to change this 🙂 step by step.

So besides above, the first step in a good skincare routine is a Cleanser, that effectively removes dirt and makeup while giving -in my case – parched, sensitive skin the gentle treatment it needs. This rinse-off formula is really easy to bring on with water. If you have dry skin that’s sensitive, or prone to redness, like mine, this is definitely a (fragrance-free) cleanser to check out. I use it in the evening before I go to bed and in the morning when I wake up.

Step 2 is this Toner, which has a light-as-water texture that absorbs imperceptibly into your skin. The best of all is the fragrance-free/alcohol-free formula, which is needed for a sensitive skin like mine. The only remark I have on this, is the smell of the toner. But hey, you can not have everything in life. I use it after the cleanser and you need only a few drops on a wimp to clean your face. Even though the cleanser removes a lot of dirt and make up, this toner removes e-very-thing what has not been removed yet. You will be surprised by what’s coming of your face.

Step 3 is bringing the Serum on my skin. It targets the needs of my – note: me crying – aging skin by supplying it with stabilized vitamin C, a skin-restoring peptide, and other powerful antioxidants. It gives my skin a brighter and hydrated appearance while resisting environmental stress.

The last step in my skincare routine is the Moisturizer. It is a sheer gel-cream, which provides just enough hydration to lessen signs of aging while soothing redness and sensitivity and like all formulas from Paula’s Choice, it is fragrance free.

In the morning I follow the same steps as above, but instead of the ‘evening’ Moisturizer, I use the ‘morning’ Moisturizer with SPF 30 protection. This daily age-defying mineral-based sunscreen, moisturizes while providing soothing skin relief and preventing the appearance of premature aging from sun damage. Sometimes I prefer a thicker cream like the ‘evening’ Moisturizer during the day as well, so I switch between these two.
