Goodmorning loves! Happy 2018!
Can’t believe another year is over and a new one just begun. Time flies!!!!
Unfortunately I caught the flu at New Years, together with thousands of other people in the Netherlands. After a week in bed, I’m back on track and happy to share our most recent travel adventure with you.
Right before Christmas we were lucky to visit Paris. We’ve been there many times, but each time this city amaze us with it’s beauty. This time we were invited by Hotel Balmoral, a 4 star hotel next to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees. Perfect location to stay! It’s super easy to travel from by public transport. And it was a first timer for us to explore the city by bike. A great service from the hotel, to use their bikes for free. We had so much fun and acted like true tourists when we hit the ‘Arc de Triomphe roundabout’ by bike.
The suite itself was really comfy and has the parisian charme with all the classic details like a French balcony. Gosh, so romantic! The bed was heavenly and for the first time in weeks we could relax. So we took our time and did not set the alarm in the morning. The breakfast was served till 11 am, which was perfect for us (sleepy heads)!
After breakfast we enjoyed the city to the max and scored some last minute christmas presents for the fam! Oeh…. and of course we did some vintage shopping ourselves! Love to find some treasures with a story. The boyfriend and me bought similar Levis denim jackets. Can’t wait to twin!
A few days in Paris is obviously never enough, so we hope to be back soon.
And we have to admit, Hotel Balmoral deserves a 5 star review if you ask us. We had for sure, the best stay ever in Paris.
